Representatives of professional race teams got the chance to catch up with the lat-est advances in chassis tuning in the seminar, “Advanced Vehicle D y na m i cs & D a t a Acquisition,” presented by Claude Rouelle, of OptimumG. Attendees came from throughout the US, as well as Singapore, Europe, Sweden, Norway, the UK, Argentina and Chile to attended the Professional Circuit Owners & Operators Convention, organized to inform race owners and promoters how to boost the front gate, increase revenues and expand profi ts. No less than six major events ran in conjunction with the PRI Trade Show beginning on Monday of Race Industry Week 2011. All were well attended by racing busi-ness professionals. Altogether, the week of the PRI Trade Show featured over 35 conferences, seminars, social gath-ering and other events, including the following: • Advanced Engineering Technology Conference (AETC) • Claude Rouelle’s OptimumG Advanced Vehicle Dynamics Seminar • Professional Motorsports Circuit Owners and Operators Convention • International Council of Motorsport Sciences (ICMS) Annual Congress • PRI Industry Roundtable • EFI University Training Course on EFI in Racing Applications These events bring hundreds of racing professionals from throughout the US, and from around the world, to Orlando before the start of the PRI Trade Show. The AETC is the oldest and most respected race engine technical seminar, attended each year by hundreds of race engine builders. Attendees came from throughout the US, as well as Singapore, Europe, Sweden, Norway, the UK, Argentina and Chile to attended the Professional Owners & Operators Convention, organized to inform race owners and promot-ers how to boost the front gate, increase revenues and expand profi ts. Jeff Hammond, TV race commentator and former NASCAR crew chief great, moderated the two-hour Industry Roundtable on Wednesday afternoon, the day before the exhibit aisles opened to the PRI Trade Show. A stellar panel discussed a wide variety of issues critical in the business of racing today.
