I had a hard time stepping away from them, knowing that I was going home, and they would still be out there, alone, exposed to the elements!” As 2011 comes to a close, the ti-gers’ reign on campus will end, and as 2012 dawns, the felines will start migrating to new homes throughout the city. Sponsors at the Centennial Legacy level get to keep their tiger; those at the Celebration level get the chance to bid on their tiger dur-ing an online auction this summer — which means some tigers may or may not stay in Memphis.
