Gilchrist signed state legislation incorporating Auburndale, Florida. Over a year of planning has gone into preparations for the -month commemoration marking the incorporation. Auburndale’s Anniversary Week tells the story of Auburndale through cultural and educational events, interactive historic exhibits, live music, celebrity appearances, commemorative dedications and much, much more. We pay homage to our historic past while looking forward to a bright future. Our community continues to grow with the City limits reaching over square miles and a population of over ,.
