More producers are optimistic about their future success More than two thirds of producers believe they are better off now than they were five years ago. 2 More producers in 2010 (67%) are likely to make this statement than in 2009 (60%). When looking ahead to the next five years, three quarters of producers in 2010 (76%) are optimistic about the future success of their farm or business, which is a significant shift from 2008 (71%) and 2009 (70%).
