P A G E 2 Membership Committee Grow our Membership By Roger Carlson Membership Chairman Chair Roger Carlson, Franklin Realty Consultants On Thursday September 9th we went to Orlando for ―Membership Recruiting Training‖ with the Oliver Group. We came back supercharged with a great opportunity for you to help out your Association. The membership drive will be on October 6th & 7th with two full days to recruit new members. If you can’t make the training you can still help with the recruiting drive contributing whatever time you have available on these days. The theme of our drive is Bucca-neers and you will see the CCBA transformed into our very own ―Buccaneer Bay‖ over the next few weeks. We currently building an AWESOME incentive package for new members that join during this time. Remember that ANY business affected by our industry is a potential member. The Membership Committee meets on the 3rdWednesday of the month at 12 noon at the CCBA so please join us and support your CCBA in maintaining our strength in the community. Remember: Members do business with members and refer to members Education for the Future Chairman Joe Bell Surfaces Flooring FBA is ready to take off! We are in the process of setting dates for a Fall car-wash at WTI and a Spring carwash at Bay Area Air Conditioning. These will help our students raise funds for some fantastic field trips again this year. Chap-ter Teacher Advisors are signing students up now and we are finalizing dates for a field trip to the University of Florida College of Design, Planning & Con-struction again this year. We are so excited to have such great dates with April 30 & May 1 of 2011 and are working on bring-ing in some sponsors we’ve never had before in hopes of making this the best tournament yet. Entry & Sponsor forms are available online already at http://www.citrusbuilders.com/comm_fishingtour.php which is a new record for our committee and staff and the committee has created a new opt in cate-gory this year called the Homosassa Slam that will pay $500.00 cash at the tour-nament.
