Pastor’sPen I’m excited about all of the positive comments we’ve heard about the renewed enthusiasm in our student ministry. D r . r o b e r t J e f f r e s s This coming Sunday morning, February 28, we will continue our series in Nehemiah with a message titled “Overcoming the Fear Factor.” This coming Wednesday, March 3, I’m asking all of our congregation to be present for our all-church Prayer and Praise Service with Pastor Jim Cymbala at 7pm in our Sanctuary. Pastor Cymbala is the best-selling author of several books including “Fresh Wind, Fresh Fire” and is pastor of The Brooklyn Tabernacle in New York City. Pastor Cymbala will speak to our church on the important subject of surrendering to God’s will. Our choir and orchestra will lead us in an uplifting time of worship. We will conclude the service on our knees, praying for the supernatural movement of God’s spirit in our own lives as we consider the commitment He would have us make. Our Pastor’s Prayer Partners will meet with Pastor Cymbala at 6:30pm in Heritage Chapel prior to the service. We were happy to welcome Eddie and Autumn Miles to our ministry staff last Sunday morning. Eddie will serve as our Associate Minister to Students with an emphasis on our middle school students. His wife, Autumn, will help to develop a ministry to both middle school and high school girls. You are the greatest example for a church.” Shelia Mae, Dallas “I have been listening to Pastor Jeffress’ sermons on ‘Living Your Dreams’ and have really enjoyed them! Nehemiah is a book that I love and have been through (in-depth) at least 15 times in the past five years.” Patrick D., Springfield, MO dr. roBert Jeffress, pastor
