In many cases, we’ll be reviewing what we’re doing well and expanding on that. In other cases, we’ll be looking at doing things differently to meet the needs of our students and business and industry partners in the communities we serve. Our overall priorities encompass three major areas of focus: Student Success, Community Needs, and Institutional Excellence. With Student Success, our goal is for students to demonstrate increasing engagement and exceed comparative benchmarks on performance indicators. To meet Community Needs, we’ll create strategic partnerships to provide an appropriately trained and skilled workforce, enabling us to meet economic demand. Our partnerships will also be important to us as we continue to provide opportunity for cultural enrichment. And for Institutional Excellence, we’ll ensure high performance and high levels of student, employee, and community satisfaction as indicated by appropriate benchmarking. Our strategic plan will be our roadmap forward; as it continues to develop and unfold, we look forward to reporting our progress and celebrating important changes that are happening here at Victoria College. —Dr. David Hinds, President 2 | Victoria College • VictoriaCollege.edu

President’s Message

A dynamic college is one that’s always responding to meet the needs of its stakeholders—an institution that sets forth a vision and mission and creates a plan of action to realize its goals.

At Victoria College, we’re proud to introduce the launch of our new five-year strategic plan.

After months of hard work gathering input from the community and holding several meetings with teams throughout the College, we established overall priorities and are now working on developing specific actions to address those priorities.

—Dr. David Hinds, President
