Department of Education Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program The Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program allows for individuals working full-time for a qualify -ing public service employer, such as a city, with direct student loans from the Department of Education to have their remaining balance forgiven after making 120 qualifying monthly payments.
