Among the items addressed by the board were: • Conducted a performance evaluation of the Executive Director and a Board Self-Assessment. • Approved the financial report, Community Alliance Program applications, a bank -ing agreement with Wells Fargo and a shared services agreement with ISU Exten-sion and Outreach. • Set and approved the budget for Fiscal Year 2015/16. • Approved a 5 percent dues increase for FY 2015/16. • Received reports on the recent membership survey, the City Candidate’s Guide and the Small City Workshops. • Ratified the recommendation of the Site Selection Committee to accept Dubuque’s bid to host the 2019 Annual Conference & Exhibit. • Directed the executive director to prepare for amendments to the League Bylaws to more accurately reflect and define the relationship between the League, Partners under the Community Alliance Program and the affiliated organizations that inter -act with the League. Minutes from Executive Board meetings are available online at www.iowaleague.org. MPI celebrates 40 years 2015 is the 40th Anniversary for the Iowa Municipal Professionals Institute (MPI). Classes specializing in all facets of municipal government specific to Iowa are July 20-24 and July 27-29. Registration online is required by July 10. Payment may be done with credit card or by mailing a check to the League. In addition to a robust roster of advanced classes for the Iowa Municipal Profession-als Academy (MPA) July 29-31, there is a banquet and speaker made possible in part from sponsorships and other donors.
