The event has attracted over 950 teams from 19 countries over the past 19 years, with teams from India, Czech Republic, Hong Kong competing as well as many from US, Ireland and the UK. The tournament is open to contestants of all ages and regularly attracts marquee names such as Dan Marino, former vice president Dan Quayle, Ice Hockey Hall of Famer Bobby Orr, World Snooker Champion Dennis Taylor as well as JP McManus and a host of international business people. The 2009 event will comprise four days of tournament golf, four nights accommodation, breakfast daily, lunch daily, welcome reception, BBQ evening, gala dinner, practice balls, room gifts, prizes, transport, and full hospitality. The format is better ball stableford points with ¾ of handicap applicable for the event.
