A New Era for Barnum The Barnum location, which has been a part of the NEW Cooperative facilities since spring of 1980, will see some of its largest changes this year. Although the grain facilities are currently leveled and previously used grain bins have been demolished, harvest 2012 will welcome the use of a new steel grain bin. The Barnum location will undergo the construc-tion of a 500,000 thousand bushel grain bin. In addition, a new pit and receiving leg will also be installed, which will have a receiving capacity of 15,000 bushel per hour. The strong support of Barnum area farmers has been signi fi cant to the success and growth of NEW Cooperative. These new additions to the Barnum grain facilities will allow NEW Coopera-tive to continue providing ef fi cient services to our members. 2
