I must say that it feels good to have the 2016 season in the books! I know that we all have projects to finish and equipment to winterize, but for the most part, we can breathe a sigh of relief. The weather this year did not disappoint as it was a wild ride. May's weather in March, March's weather in April, and September and November played musical chairs with us! As winter sets in, we can fix our eyes on Spring of next year and do it all again. As I traveled, I had the opportunity to contact pest control companies this year and share with them the benefits of ECA. I also had the honor of attending PestWorld to represent our organization. This is my second trip to PestWorld in the last 5 years. Although it is such a huge event, each time I have felt welcomed by the NPMA and am reminded of the great opportunity we each have working in such an amazing industry. Idaho was well represented with owners and managers from the Treasure Valley including Chuck and Braden Cooley from PestCom, Phil Coulson of Custom Care, Hans Madsen from Custom Bedbug as well as Larry Treleven from Sprague. It is an exciting time to work in this field with so many new and improved products and chemicals being showcased at PestWorld. I feel confident that we have the most up-to-date information and knowledge available here in Idaho. Hope to see you at the ECA Convention in Boise on December 6th & 7th or in Twin Falls on December 8th.
