ALLAN JUDAH is the Chief Operating Officer for National Travel Systems, LP, a travel and housing management company that has been in involved with various aspects of sports travel for over 15 years. As a former logistics officer in the United States Marine Corps, Allan utilizes the same philosophies and techniques to attack the many challenges of managing logistical aspects of sporting events. Through affiliations with numerous sports organizations utilizing the services of National Travel Systems, Allan has been involved in the logistical coordination of events such as the 2003 World Gymnastics Championships, 2004 Pacific Life Holiday Bowl, 2004 and 2008 USA Gymnastics Olympic Trials, 2005 World Badminton Championships and 2007 Konica Minolta Gator Bowl among many others. NANCY CAIN is Public Relations Director for AAA Michigan and The Auto Club Group (ACG), the largest affiliation of AAA club in the Midwest, with 4.1 million members. Cain joined AAA as a writer in the Public Relations Department in 1982. Before joining AAA, she was a reporter at the Macomb Daily Newspaper in Mount Clemens, MI, where she covered education, business and municipal government. She is a former Detroit Public School teacher. Cain also spent two years teaching in Tehran, Iran. A Detroit native, Cain has a bachelor of science degree from Wayne State University. She is an accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and served in several elected capacities with the Detroit Chapter PRSA. She is a former two-year president of the Detroit Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists. STACY BROWN is the president of the Shreveport-Bossier Convention and Tourist Bureau. She has been a leader in tourism for nearly two decades. Under her helm, Shreveport-Bossier was selected in November 2008 to host the Amateur Softball Association 2010 conference – the organization’s first conference ever to be held in Louisiana. She serves on the Louisiana Travel Promotion Association’s Governmental Action Committee, and other marketing committees. Stacy also serves on the Southeast Tourism Society Board, Red River Revel Arts Festival Board and Independence Bowl Board. She has been appointed by the Governor to the Louisiana Tourism Development Commission. BRUCE KNITTLE is the President of Knittle Sports Solutions, Inc., a full service sports consulting firm based in Long Island, New York. Knittle Sports Solutions offers advisory services to sports organizations in all geographic regions. Customized solutions, after personal review, are presented to each client. He is a business affiliate of the American Camping Association, and has over twenty five years experience in the sports industry. Previously, Bruce was a successful camp owner, sports coach/instructor, and director of sports programs. In his youth, he was a former highly ranked tennis player, and captain of the Florida State University tennis team. JOSH NORRIS is a sportswriter living in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. He works for the Trentonian in Trenton, New Jersey as a sports copy editor and sportswriter. Most of his work for the Trentonian has been spent covering the Trenton Thunder, the Yankees’ Double-A affiliate. His proudest work has been his one-on-one interviews with topflight Yankees’ prospects such as Brett Gardner, Austin Jackson and Mark Melancon. He was also on hand this season when the Thunder won their second consecutive Eastern League championship. A graduate of Florida State University, MICHELE RENAHAN has been in the hospitality industry for 20 years. She has held several sales management and director-level positions with Holiday Inn, Days Inn, and Marriot. For the last five years she has worked with Wyndham Worldwide as a Regional Marketing Director overseeing the western regional marketing for Days Inn in 13 states. Renahan recently received her MBA in marketing. Sports DESTINATION MANAGEMENT LINDA DRISCOLL-DOBEL is the editor of Sports Destination Management magazine, Trade & Industry Development magazine, and Contact Professional magazine, all of which are wholly owned publications of Due North Consulting, Inc., a media firm located in Birmingham, Alabama.
