(This is a problem we’ll be glad to solve.) The housing recov-ery is slow but it’s there. When business spend-ing and consumer confi-dence starts on an up-scale we should see more improvement. Clichés come to mind such as “Hang in there” or “keep looking up” because relief is around the corner. By helping others, we help ourselves so let’s acknowledge Builders Care and the volunteers who devoted their time and energy by Building a Better Christmas for those in need during the Toys for Tots drive. Thank you for helping others in our community. We all share in these con-tributions simply by being members with you. Another positive note is that a good time was had by all who participated in the Annual Jim Black-shear Memorial Golf Outing. Again, volun-teers, staff, and spon-sors were available and are appreciated. This year members of The Governmental Affairs Committee will begin a monthly article to help keep you updated on certain events and yes, we will face challenges in 2011 but not alone. As a team we will see the future of our in-dustry get brighter.
