On Thursday, November 4, 2016, the center welcomed its most famous guest, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. The Jacksonville stop was the fourth time Trump had visited Northeast Florida in his bid to become our nation's 45th President in the last several months. Jacksonville is one of the most important cities in all of his campaign's stops because usually it is the largest conservative area in the key swing state. Well before Trump took the stage, Florida State Senator Aaron Bean introduced himself to the crowd of about 6,000, and hosted the two hour event.
