LEE COUNTY LEE COUNTY STRIKERS SOCCER CLUB CONGRATULATIONS U14 GIRLS STRIKERS LEAGUE CHAMPIONS 2009/2010 Lee County Strikers U14 Girls coached by Adie Holland & Berk Edwards finished their league play season in style by beating Weston FC 3 ‐0 at home . Lee County Strikers played at the highest level in FLUGSA which is Division 1. Strikers played 14 games remaining undefeated all league play. The U14 Girls record was 12 wins, 0 loses and 2 ties. This is a massive accomplishment being the only team in the league from this coast and playing against very high quality opposition around the state. They now go onto the playoffs to play a semi final and final game to decide the playoff league champion of FLUGSA 2009/2010. Adie Holland Head Trainer and Director of Lee County Strikers said "It has been a fantastic season so far for the girls who have showed that hard work, dedication and playing a beau‐ tiful brand of soccer will bring development and success. Congratulations to all of the girls who deserve this very much. We now look forward to the Ga‐ tor Showcase and State Cup in a few months."Captain Alyssa Swett said; "It feels awesome to go undefeated in such a competitive league. The season has gone really well. The team is very committed and we have all developed as a team." U13 GIRLS FINISH 2nd IN FLUGSA The Lee County Strikers U13 gi rls have con‐ cluded their 2009/2010 FLUGSA League play. This brand new team competed in an East Coast Division 1 bracket which is the highest level of play in FLUGSA and consisted of 14 games. The competi tion was extremely competitive and the gi rls had to play every game at their highest level . The Strikers maintained 1st place for a majori ty of the season, which consisted of 8 teams. With no room for error the Strikers would drop a game falling to second place. An end of season game saw the 1st place Palm Beach Uni ted play the 2nd place LC Strikers. The resul t was an impressive victory 4‐0 for Lee County thus clinching a second place finish. Thei r season league record was 8‐3‐3 missing out on the Champions ti tle by 1 game. The Strikers are currently 19‐5‐3 on the season with two Championships under thei r bel t. They are now preparing for Region Cup. NORTH FORT MYERS KNIGHTS SOCCER CLUB North Fort Myers Soccer Club was established in 1978. They provide a popular and strong youth athletic program and serve over 850 children and their families annu‐ ally. Our Saturday games attract over 3,000 people and, in addition to the weekly practices, provide an excellent exposure of your advertising. Our website received over 2,500 hits in the last month alone.
