Congratulations to SAA members Stephanie Baltzer Kom, Sofia Becerra-Licha, Genna Duplisea, M. Hill Archives and Special Collections at the University of Indianapolis. She began her tenure as reference librarian in 1987, and has been the university archivist since 2003. Prior to her arrival in Indianapolis, she worked for several years in the African and Out-of-Print Section at Alderman Library at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. Adam Jansen is the new state archivist for the Hawaii State Archives. Previously, he served as a digital archives consultant for the Hawaii State Archives, taught archival studies at the University of Hawaii, and was the deputy state archivist in Washington. Jeffrey Kintop, assistant administrator for Archives and Records for the State of Nevada; and Terry B. Nelson, director of Salt Lake County Records and Management and Archives (retired) are recipients of the 2016 Conference of Inter-Mountain Archivists (CIMA) Life-Time Achievement Awards. Julia Stringfellow, university archivist and department chair and professor at the Brooks Library, Central Washington University, is the recipient of the 2016 CIMA Service Award. Kevin C. Miller is the new university archivist at the University of California, Davis. In this position, he is developing and leading the new Archives and Institutional Assets Program, which works with UC Davis researchers and faculty early in the lifecycle of the content they create and stewards this content for discoverability, access, preservation, and impact. Miller previously served as librarian for digital curation and publication at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California.
