Health care workers praised for bringing healing to people in pain By Maria Guzzo Contributing Writer GREENSBURG — With echoes of terrorism and death still hanging in the air, health care workers stood to receive a blessing during the annual White Mass at Blessed Sacrament Cathedral Nov. 15. During his homily, Bishop Edward C. Malesic recalled the horror of the attacks in Paris two days before and said there’s no doubt there will be ADVENT BEGINS NOV. 29 The Advent season is a time of preparation that directs our hearts and minds to Christ’s second coming at the end of time and also to the anniversary of the Lord’s birth on Christmas.
