PEORIA, ILLINOIS Play Here, Stay Here FOR 20 YEARS, the Illinois High School Association Boys Basketball State Tournament has been hosted in Peoria, Illinois, and has just announced its intentions for five more years. The city knows how to host an event from the early stages to the final goodbyes. Street signs with incoming school names line the streets (and are mailed to schools afterwards as a keepsake), welcome signs hang in local businesses and 110,000 square feet of convention halls are filled with all-star experiences for spectators to enjoy.
