Kaley accepted a volleyball scholarship at WIU and an official signing was held in the media center at Clay High School on Tuesday, Jan. 27. Kaley has a 3.0 GPA and works part-time at the YMCA. This year she received Clay High’s “Most Valuable Volleyball Player” award. Kaley stated, “That from all the stats that Clay High Volleyball Coach Ashley Smeltzer gave, I am very proud of my 132 ‘kills’ in my senior season.” Kaley is the daughter of James and Kim Cox, and the granddaughter of Sara Spurrier and Ida Cox. WIU is a private university that was founded in 1927 and is located in Babson Park, Florida by Grace Knight and Roger W. Babson which was to carry the last name of their granddaughter, Camilla Grace Webber.
