This year's symposium featured 20 speakers, mostly MD's, whose topics ranged from "How Mammograms Guide Surgical Decisions" to "Options for Breast Reconstruction". The 7th Annual Pink Ribbon Symposium was held at the Thrasher-Horne Center on Saturday, October 4th. Doors to the auditorium, where dozens of people had waited patiently, open at 8 AM. Admission was free and sign-up sheets offering free CME and CEU credits to health care professionals were located under a white tent before entering the building. As with previous symposiums here, a continental breakfast was served between 8 AM and 9 AM, but food and drink were available for several hours after. While breakfast was served, over 50 exhibitors were on hand showcasing specialized products and services including health and beauty tips, as well as professional medical services.
