We continually strive to offer you only the highest quality customer service and support, and are dedicated to helping your farming operations succeed. I cannot stress enough the importance of having the By Brent Bunte right people in the right places in our company. We look from within to fi nd the best fi t for your needs. In order to have this vast pool of potential to choose from, we spend considerable time helping our employee team grow. Across all areas of this cooperative, we take the time to train our employees on the most up-to-date and safest ways of operation, and always make available the knowledge and resources our employees need to help you succeed. Over the past several months, there has been quite a bit of movement within our employee team. We have had several key positions change hands and are con fi dent in whom we now have in place. In Lidderdale, Wayne Tigges has started his position as Location Manager. Wayne took over for Rod Brant, who was promoted to the Region 3 manager. Rod is now working out of Roelyn, replacing Frank Huseman as Frank assumed the role of Director of Operations based out of the Fort Dodge of fi ce. Another change was made as Dan Lundberg made the switch from Agronomy Operations Manager to his new role as the Clare Location Manager. We strongly believe that the best asset NEW Cooperative has is our employees. We will continue to put in the time and effort it takes to keep our team at the top of their game so they can continue to add value to your farming operations. On another note, last month the Board approved paying out the 1999, 2000, and 2001 Regional Deferred Dividends. For a number of years, the board has approved making this payment after the fi rst of January. As a reminder, this is the result of dividends that NEW has received from our regional coops, which are Land O’ Lakes, Agri, CHS, and AGP. They have all had excellent years recently and increased the cash paid out. This year, the resulting amount returned to you is 60% larger than last year, totaling over $2.4 million dollars.
