I love and live for color in homes. I have a very hard time with clients who want a neutral interior. I’ll do it if pressed, but I don’t believe in it. I think it’s unhealthy and shows a huge lack of imagination and a vast amount of fear: fear of making a mistake, fear of what other people will think or say, fear that it grow tiresome in time… none of which I’m overly concerned with. Everything goes out of style eventually, even neutrals. People respond to color emotionally and physiologically. That is a proven fact.
