PETER FRANCESCONI has been in publishing for more than 25 years, working with newspapers, a wire service and magazines. He is the editor of Racquet Sports Industry, the world’s largest tennis trade publication, and through his company, Ace Media Group, he works closely with the Tennis Industry Association and other groups in communications, marketing and public relations. He was managing editor of Tennis Magazine from 1990 to 1999 and editorial director of Tennis’s custom publishing division from 1999 to 2009. MICHAEL WILDES is the managing partner of the leading U.S. immigration law firm, Wildes & Weinberg, P.C., which specializes in employment and investment-based immigration, business and treaty visas, labor certification/job offer sponsorship for permanent residence, naturalization/U.S. citizenship, Form I-9 compliance, family-based immigration, student and religious worker visas, and all other temporary and permanent visas. Mr. Wildes is a former Federal Prosecutor and recently completed two terms as the Mayor of Englewood, NJ where he resides. As executive director, MARTIN TULL manages the overall operations of the Green Sports Alliance, whose mission is to help sports teams, venues, and leagues enhance their environmental performance. He oversees all environmental impact reduction strategies, strategic alliances and membership programs. Martin led the formation and growth of the Alliance from the founding six pro sports teams to over 40 teams from 13 professional and collegiate leagues today. MATT LIBBER is vice president of operations and business development for Elite Tournaments, a Maryland-based event management company specializing in youth soccer.Elite Tournaments has managed over 200 events since 2000, and operates 42 events in 14 states. Matt is a graduate of Western Maryland College, and holds a Graduate Certificate in Sports Administration from George Washington University. He is the former 1st Vice President of the Maryland State Youth Soccer Association where he was the state cup director. TOM GALECKE is the founder of the Waupaca Boatride Volleyball Tournament (WBR).After its inception in 1983, it is now the world’s largest volleyball tournament. WBR assists with grass, beach, and indoor tournaments in eight states and also conducts grass volleyball leagues in several cities. WBR also operates a nonprofit group through Grass Hopper Sports whose goal is to allow all kids access to sports clinics, clubs, and leagues. Galecke is also a member of the Fox Valley (CVB) Sports Commission. JOHN GROH was named the president and chief executive officer of the Rockford Area Convention & Visitors Bureau in 2009. RACVB is responsible for tourism marketing in Winnebago County, Illinois. Prior to joining the RACVB, John was the executive vice president of the Rockford Chamber of Commerce, and had worked at the RACVB in marketing and communications. John recently graduated from the MBA program at Northern Illinois University; he received his B.A. from Bethel University, St. Paul, Minnesota. ROB URBACH is CEO of USA Triathlon, the national governing body (NGB) for multi-sport events. USA Triathlon has a total of 450,000 members, 150,000 annual members and 300,000 “one-day” members. Urbach joined USA Triathlon in March 2011, after spending more than 20 years as a sports industry executive. He became interested in multi-sport events in high school, and competed in his first triathlon at that time. He describes himself as “still having a passion for multisport.”
