We are often asked how we came up with the name BlueToad. All you really need to know is that we believe the BlueToad name is bold, unique and intriguing, qualities our company exemplifies. We are a privately held, innovative technology company headquartered in Orlando, Florida. Born out of a small publishing company, BlueToad is led by owners who were determined to find an inexpensive way of producing and distributing publications to readers, many of whom lived out of the country. Facing rising postage and print costs, and unable to afford the digital providers already in the market, the BlueToad digital publishing system was conceived, developed, and publicly launched in April of 2007. Since that time, we have experienced explosive growth, currently producing over 2,000 digital editions each month.

Brad Wriedt, Chief Executive Officer
Brad is one of the founding owners of BlueToad and serves as its creative force. Brad grew up in the Quad Cities, Illinois. Prior to founding BlueToad, Brad toiled in the ranks of professional golfers.
Paul DeHart, President and Chief Operations Officer
Paul is one of the founding owners of BlueToad and handles BlueToad’s operations and business relations. Paul grew up in the panhandle of Florida. Paul practiced law prior to founding BlueToad and is a registered Patent and Trademark Attorney.
Hutch Hicken, Chief Information Officer
Hutch is an owner of BlueToad and handles BlueToad’s technology platform. Prior to joining BlueToad, Hutch was a litigator specializing in intellectual property and other commercial civil matters.

In the short time we've had a BlueToad App in iTunes, we have seen rapid growth in our online readership. The subscription feature allows customers to instantly purchase back issues as well as current issues.
